ASF has been detected on a farm with more than 39,000 animals in Timis County.

After several deaths occurred due to application errors when using a vaccine against African swine fever (ASF) in domestic pigs, the use of the vaccine in Vietnam was initially stopped. Now the vaccinations are to be resumed and the vaccination process better controlled.

Since the beginning of 2022 specialists of the State Consumer Service of Ukraine registered 7 cases of ASF (3 - domestic, 2 - wildlife, 2 - infected objects), of which three cases in Sumy region and one case each in Kyiv, Chernihiv, Zhytomyr and Kirovohrad regions.

In order to ensure a stable epizootic situation on the territory of Ukraine and to prevent the entry of African swine fever, the State Service for the Prevention of Swine Fever recommends that owners keeping livestock to strengthen measures to prevent the occurrence of ASF.

Over 13,000 animals were culled on pig farms in Gangwon-do.
