«We have been receiving support from the USDA and the AUPB for two years now. The assistance offered is really appropriate and useful for pig farms. In particular, after participating in the program in 2023, we were able to identify problem areas, draw certain conclusions, and introduce changes both from a veterinary point of view and in animal husbandry. Therefore, this year we were also happy to join the project and have even received the first test results. We will study them to find out what we need to work on and improve. As an owner of the enterprise, I really like the approach: there is a clear research program according to technological and age groups; the results are clear, so it is immediately clear at what stage the problem appears… It is easier to prevent it,» comments Mykhailo Karpenko, co-founder and director of Agrocentre K LLC.
