Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted the Law on Amendments to Article 20 of the Law of Ukraine "On Land".
According to an UNIAN correspondent, 247 of 425 deputies of Ukraine, registered in the assembly hall, voted “pro” this law.
Present law provides the right to lease the land stems from the date of state registration of such rights under the law governing the state registration of rights to immovable property.
In Final provisions of the law stipulates that the document takes effect after its publication. Also it is satated that up to January 1, 2012:
- term of state registration of land rent can not exceed 14 days from the date of application for such registration;
- state registration fee for the lease of land for agricultural purposes may not exceed three times an average income of citizens.
Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine charged within three months from the date of enactment of this law to bring its regulations into compliance with this law and ensure the review and abolition of their normative and legal acts of ministries and other central executive authorities that contradict with this law.
