The USAID AGRO Program announces a call for proposals for the Access to Outsourcing and Skilled Workforce sub-grant.

The program is interested in providing sub-grants to Ukrainian nongovernmental enterprises, civic organizations, and business associations to support and strengthen the sustainability of Ukrainian micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) that are food producers and/or agro-processors and are part of AGRO's targeted value chains :

  • grains and oilseeds,
  • fruits and vegetables,
  • candy making and kraft products,
  • meat and dairy and aquaculture.

The purpose of this sub-grant program is to reduce the negative effects of military action, the energy and economic crisis resulting from the Russian military invasion on MSMEs and to provide rapid access to technical, technological and other services aimed at ensuring the full functioning of the agro-food sector.

Interested parties have until February 02, 2023, to confirm their participation in the pre-registration online workshop to be held by the USAID AGRO Program on February 03, 2023 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm.

As a reminder, USAID helped create the 24-hour Manufacturing Enterprise Support Center. We also wrote that Kherson agrarian university received from USAID a methodology for future specialists in land management.
